Father, thank you for this season of testing and trials in our lives for it is working patience and endurance in us. As we reach and seek for You Father, we come praising, crying aloud and sparing not. We are warring with our hands and fighting with our fingers commanding righteousness and holiness in our inward parts and commanding salvation for the lost. We are Your End-Time warriors ready to be used as your weapons of indignation against the enemy of our soul. We rebuke and tread upon every spirit that creeps for the from the forest and every beast of the forest that comes to devour. We root out and pluck up every familiar spirit that will not allow us to be fathered by you. We command that every demon that would try come into our lives undetected will be exposed. We remove all leaven and malice from our lives. We release ourselves from the snare of the devil. We decree that the tradition of men will not longer make your word null and void. We cancel every spirit that has been assigned to abort our destinies and the destinies of our children. We overcome every antichrist spirit because greater are You that is in us than he that is in the world. We decree and declare that we are loose from every whoredom spirit, every spirit of error, spirits of lethargy, spirits of seduction, witchcraft spirits. I decree and declare that our spirits are willing and stirred to do Your Will, Father. We decree that Your Blood is released to cover our minds and thoughts. We decree that our doorpost and possesions are covered by Your Blood. We decree and declare that our conscience is purged from dead works to serve You. We decree healing, health, abundance, deliverance, and fullness of the Holy Spirit in the Body of Christ Father God, we decree and declare your refreshing in us now to continue to pray, praise, and not cease, In Jesus Name! Amen!Have a great Sunday at Church or wherever you may be.I am praying for all my Blog traffic, continue to share this site with your friends andfamily. Posted: 16 Jun 2009 09:45 PM PDT by Dr. Harold Sala“Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one’s youth.” -Psalm 127:4The world’s greatest mission field is not the Dark Continent of Africa, nor is it the highlands of Papua New Guinea, or the jungles of South America. Are you ready for this? The greatest mission field today is the hearts of our children. And today forces more sinister and frightening than the vipers of the jungle and more devastating than malaria which no longer responds to medicines are making their bids for the hearts of our children and grandchildren.Today our children are both our greatest challenge and our greatest mission field. But here is the question: How do we respond to the evil and sinister forces which challenge them? Turn off the TV set. Give them the gift of yourself, and strive to include them in your overloaded schedule. Yes, but even more. For a long while we parents have depended on others to do what we alone can do. We expect institutions such as schools and churches and organizations to convey values and provide an education framework. We expect that our offspring will absorb whatever is necessary to succeed in life, and so we pay for it—tuition for education, music lessons, karate, ballet and sports. We also provide computers, color television sets, 18-speed bicycles, basketballs and the latest of digital audio equipment. But often neglected are the personal element of parental love and the deeper lessons of what life is all about, including the spiritual.I’ve often said that values in life are caught—not taught. I still believe that, but I also believe the gift of parental love, the strong kind which includes caring enough to be there, and to provide discipline and guidance until a child is old enough to make good decisions, is the only thing that will get kids through the jungle which is out there. When a child knows that he or she is really loved and will be accepted regardless of what happens, it gives a youngster stability, which makes it much easier to stand on his own two feet and dare to be different. A parent’s goal should be growing a kid so strong that when you aren’t there, he won’t need you; and that can only be done through patient guidance, discipline, and love. What is the gift of love? Simply put, it is the gift of yourself. No longer do kids worry much about the Earth’s being incinerated by nuclear fission, nor do many children worry about having enough to eat—though some do. But a lot of children today worry about whether Mommy and Daddy will stay together. The fear of divorce has now become children’s greatest fear. One of the greatest gifts a parent can give his child is to love the child’s mother or dad, as the case may be.The note left on the teacher’s desk read, “Dear Miss [teacher]… I need a hug. At the end of the day, would you please give me a hug? I know you’d rather be hugging your own children but I’m hurting. Love, Becky.” Becky was an eleven-year-old girl, overweight and desperate for love. Her dad was an attorney whose wife had divorced him and wanted her independence. Becky’s grandmother was raising her and did the best she could. But there is none who can take the place of your mother or dad. Dr. Ross Campbell, a psychiatrist whose book How to Really Love Your Children, has more than a half-million copies in print, says that he has never treated an adolescent involved in sexual misconduct who felt loved by her parents. Especially important and needful is the love of a dad.Interestingly enough the first mention of the word love in the Bible was that of a father’s love for his son. The father was Abraham and the son was Isaac. Question: Could Becky be your child, desperately in need of love? Remember, your child may be a mission field. Don’t forget it.

True peace comes from accepting your own anger, greed,
and ignorance and turning them into tools for growing love.
This is something we should all read at least once a week!
Written By Regina Brett, 90 years old, of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland ,
Ohio
“To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me.
It is the most-requested column I’ve ever written.”
My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:
1. Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and
parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It’s more healing than crying alone.
8. It’s OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won’t screw up the present.
12. It’s OK to let your children see you cry.
13.. Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey
is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn’t be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don’t worry; God
never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn’t useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn’t kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It’s never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is
up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don’t take no for
an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don’t
save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don’t wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words ‘In five years, will
this matter?’
27. Always choose life.
28. Forgive everyone everything.
29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32. Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did
or didn’t do.
35. Don’t audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative — dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s,we’d
grab ours back.
41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
42. The best is yet to come.
43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
44. Yield.
45. Life isn’t tied with a bow, but it’s still a gift.”

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his
son on a trip to the country with the express purpose
of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the
farm of what would be considered a very poor family. On their return from their trip, the father asked his son,
’How was the trip?’ ‘It was great, Dad.’
‘Did you see how poor people live?’ the father asked.
‘Oh yeah,’ said the son.
‘So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?’ asked the father
The son answered:
‘I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our
garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and
they have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and
they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and
they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but
they serve others. We buy our food, but
they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us,
they have friends to protect them.’ The boy’s father was speechless. Then his son added ,
‘Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.’ Isn’t perspective a wonderful thing?
Makes you wonder what would happen if
we all gave thanks for everything we have,
instead of worrying about what we don’t have. Appreciate every single thing you have,
especially your friends! Pass this on to family, friends and acquaintances
and help them refresh their
perspective and appreciation. ‘Life is too short and
friends are too few.’

An older, tired-looking dog wandered into my yard. that he had a home and was well taken care of. He calmly came over to me, I gave him a few pats on his head; slowly walked down the hall, Curled up in the corner and fell asleep. An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out. The next day he was back, greeted me in my yard, walked inside and resumed his spot in the hall and again slept for about an hour. This continued off and on for several weeks. Curious I pinned a note to his collar: “I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap.” The next day he arrived for his nap, with a different note pinned to his collar: “He lives in a home with 6 children – 2 under the age of 3 – he’s trying to catch up on his sleep. May I come with him tomorrow?” |

This is from my email inbox sent to me, you may
subscribe to Pastor Allens email below:
The Lord bless you and keep you; the
Lord make his face shine upon you and
be gracious to you; the Lord turn his
face toward you and give you peace.
( Numbers 6:24-26 *NIV )
Dear John,
Often when we count our blessings we forget many of them.
So today I will share a few with you that we never think about.
Now the following was sent to me by one of our subscribers,
and it gives us some of the blessings to count!
If you woke up this morning
with more health than illness,
you are more blessed than the
million who won’t survive the week.
If you have never experienced
the danger of battle,
the loneliness of imprisonment,
the agony of torture or
the pangs of starvation,
you are ahead of 20 million people
around the world.
If you can attend a church meeting
without fear of harassment,
arrest, torture, or death,
you are more blessed than almost
three billion people in the world.
If you have food in your refrigerator,
clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep,
you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank,
in your wallet, and spare change
in a dish someplace, you are among
the top 8% of the world’s wealthy.
If your parents are still married and alive,
you are very rare, especially in this World
today.
If you hold up your head with a smile
on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the majority can,
but most do not.
If you can hold someone’s hand, hug them
or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can
offer God’s healing touch.
If you can read this message,
you are more blessed than over
two billion people in the world
that cannot read anything at all.
You are so blessed in ways
you may never even know.
So John, let us; Give thanks to the Lord,
for He is good; His love endures forever.
Amen. ( Psalms 118:29 )

He who sits in the heavens shall laugh
( Psalm 2:4 *NKJV )
Dear John,
Now I know that I am using this verse totally
out of context, but our Heavenly Father truly has
a sense of humor! So sit back, relax and enjoy
the Bloopers actually found in Church Bulletins!
For; He will yet fill your mouth
with laughing., And your lips with
rejoicing. ( Job 8:21 )
The outreach committee has enlisted 25 visitors to
make calls on people who are not “afflicted” with
any church.
The Ladies Bible Study will be held Thursday
morning at 10. All ladies are invited to lunch in the
Fellowship Hall after the B.S. is done.
Evening massage - 6 p.m.
The Pastor would appreciate it if the ladies of the
congregation would lend him their electric “girdles” for
the pancake breakfast next Sunday morning.
The audience is asked to remain seated until the end
of the recession.
Ushers will eat latecomers
For those of you who have children and don’t know it,
we have a nursery downstairs.
The Rev. Meriwether spoke briefly, much to the
delight of the audience.
Due to the Rector’s illness, Wednesday’s healing
services will be discontinued until further notice.
Next Sunday Mrs. Vinson will be soloist for the
morning service. The pastor will then speak on “It’s a
Terrible Experience.”
Remember in prayer the many who are sick of our
church and community.
Today’s Sermon: HOW MUCH CAN A MAN DRINK?
With hymns from a full choir.
Potluck supper: prayer and medication to follow.
Don’t let worry kill you off - let the church help.
The 2009 Spring Council Retreat will be “hell” May 10
and 11.
Pastor is on vacation. ”Massages” can be given to
church secretary.
8 new choir robes are currently needed due to the
addition of several new members and to the
deterioration of some older ones.
The pastor will preach his farewell message, after
which the choir will sing, “Break Forth Into Joy.”
The third verse of Blessed Assurance will be sung
without musical accomplishment.
